DuoTake respects your privacy and is committed to being clear about how your information is handled when you use the app.

1. Personal Data Collection

DuoTake is designed to capture photos and videos directly on your device. We do not require account creation and we do not ask for personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, or location for our own servers.

During onboarding, DuoTake may ask you to provide your gender as an optional preference. You can choose not to provide this information. When provided, gender is used only to provide better features for you and is not used for advertising, marketing, or sale to third parties.

2. Camera, Microphone, and Photo Library Access

DuoTake may request access to your device camera, microphone, and photo library only so the app can record media and save your files.

• Camera: used to capture photos and videos.
• Microphone: used when recording video with audio.
• Photo Library: used to save captures or access media you choose to manage through the app.

This access is limited to the functionality of the app and is controlled by iOS permissions on your device.

3. On-Device Processing

DuoTake processes captured media locally on your device so it can produce portrait and landscape outputs from the same session. We do not upload your photos, videos, or audio recordings to servers controlled by the developer.

4. Purchases

If you purchase premium features, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment details such as credit card information. Purchase status and restoration are handled using Apple services.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

Because DuoTake is designed to work without developer-hosted user accounts, we do not maintain a remote database of your personal media. Files created with the app remain under your control on your device and in services you choose to use, such as Apple Photos or iCloud.

7. Security

Although DuoTake does not store your media on developer servers, we still aim to follow good security practices in the app and minimize unnecessary access to device information.

8. Children’s Privacy

DuoTake is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe the app has collected information in a way that conflicts with this policy, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app functionality, legal requirements, or how DuoTake operates. The latest version will always be available on this page.
